North Node Enters Aquarius
On 27 July 2026 the North and South Nodes enter new signs.
The North Node will enter Aquarius and the South Node will therefore be moving into Leo as the Nodes are always exactly 180º apart. This will activate a new house axis in your birth chart!
Across the axis of Leo and Aquarius, you can expect to see major endings but also major new beginnings start to occur. In general, Leo and Aquarius are signs that are about leaning into what makes you unique, finding your voice, utilising creative outlets, and also joining together with a community or finding a greater cause to contribute to.
Themes similar to what was going on in your life around 2017-2019 may repeat. Of course, everything else in the sky is in a different position now, so brand new energy and themes may emerge with this transit.
The North Node in Aquarius will also activate the ongoing transit of Pluto in Aquarius, making you feel a desire for deep transformation and healing in the Aquarius ruled house of your chart. It won’t conjunct Pluto until the end of its time in Aquarius, but the North Node will still be in a sign-based conjunction (also known as co-presence) the entire time, so we can expect Pluto to influence the North Node’s transit here.
And Jupiter will also be sharing Leo with the South Node. So interpreting the Nodes shift of signs is not straight-forward. With that being said, below are some generalised interpretations of how this may play out for you.
