Astrology is one of the oldest languages in the world. And like any language, it was never meant to be learned alone — from a textbook, a course, or a string of YouTube videos that leave you more confused than when you started.
It was meant to be passed down. Teacher to student, chart by chart, season by season — in genuine relationship, with someone who already speaks the language fluently and can show you, not just tell you.
The Astrologer's Table is that kind of teaching. Whether you're picking up your first ephemeris or you've been studying for years and hit a wall, there is a place for you here — and I will meet you exactly where you are.
You don't need to know anything yet.
You just need to be ready to learn.
The Astrologer's Table is open to complete beginners and intermediate students alike. What matters isn't where you're starting — it's how seriously you want to go.
You're brand new to astrology and want to learn it properly from the very beginning — not piecemeal, not alone
You've been self-studying for a while and feel stuck — you know the building blocks but can't make them sing together
You want to understand your own chart on a deep level — and eventually be able to read for others with confidence
You're serious about developing professional skills — and want to learn by watching a working astrologer, not just reading about it
You're looking for a passive, pre-recorded course you can dip in and out of. The Astrologer's Table is live, personal, and demands your genuine presence and commitment.
A curriculum that grows
with you
Your apprenticeship is shaped around where you're starting and where you want to go. We work through the foundations, then build steadily toward professional fluency — at the pace your life allows, with no corners cut.
-
01
Your own chart — first
We begin where astrology always should — with your own chart. Learning through the lens of your own life makes everything land faster, deeper, and more personally.
-
02
Technical foundations & chart mechanics
Planets, signs, houses, aspects, dignities, and the Hellenistic and modern frameworks that underpin everything. Built properly from the ground up — or reinforced if you already have some knowledge.
-
03
Synthesis & fluent chart reading
The part most students struggle with: weaving individual chart factors into a coherent, living story. We practice on real charts until reading flows naturally.
-
04
Transits, timing & predictive work
Solar returns, profections, progressions, new and full moons, and how to track transits as they play out in real life. This is the living pulse of astrology — and the heart of my practice.
-
05
Consultation training & professional skills
How to hold a reading: the language, the ethics, the energetics. How to structure a session, how to deliver sensitive insights, and how to build a professional astrology practice with integrity.
High touch, close access,
and entirely personal
This is not a course with modules and a Facebook group. It's a genuine apprenticeship — which means you learn by doing, by watching, and by working closely with someone who is actively practising the craft.
Two dedicated sessions each month — for chart work, technical deep-dives, practice readings, Q&A, or wherever you need to go. Sessions are shaped around you.
Direct access to Jackie between sessions for questions, chart observations, or anything that comes up in your studies. You're never left to figure it out alone.
Sit in on Jackie's real work via Zoom — client readings (where consent is given), chart analysis, transit and lunation work. Watch astrology practised, not just taught.
Resources, reading lists, and practice exercises tailored to your level and goals — updated as you grow. No generic handouts.
One of the rarest parts of this apprenticeship: watching a working astrologer in real time.
As an apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to observe Jackie's actual professional work as it happens — not a simulation, not a replay. This is how astrology has always been taught at the highest level.
In their own words
"Replace this with your real student testimonial — something specific about what changed for them, what they learned, or what it felt like to be taught this way."— Rachel, Australia
"Replace this with your second real student testimonial. Specific, honest words in their own voice always convert better than polished generics."— Student name
Meet Jackie
I'm Jacqueline Nicole — astrologer, educator, and the founder of JN Astrology. I've spent over a decade studying and practising astrology, and I've been teaching it since 2016.
My approach weaves Hellenistic and traditional foundations with modern psychological astrology, always anchored in the lived experience of transits. I don't just teach the theory — I teach astrology as a working, breathing practice.
The Astrologer's Table is the most intimate and high-touch way I teach. I take only two apprentices at a time, because this kind of teaching requires real presence — and I take that seriously.
Your questions, answered
Do I need any prior knowledge of astrology?
Not at all. Complete beginners are genuinely welcome — this apprenticeship is designed to take you from the very beginning all the way through to professional-level skills. What you need isn't knowledge; it's commitment.
I've been studying for a while — is this still right for me?
Yes. If you're at an intermediate level and feel like something is missing — depth, synthesis, professional skills, or just the confidence that comes from being properly taught — The Astrologer's Table will meet you where you are and take you further.
How does the 3-month minimum work?
You commit to 3 months upfront — this gives us the time and depth needed to actually make progress together. After 3 months, you can continue month-to-month for as long as the apprenticeship is serving you, with 30 days notice to pause or stop.
What does 'sitting in on readings' actually look like?
You join Jackie live on Zoom as a silent observer. Some sessions are with real clients (where consent has been given); others use practice or anonymised charts. Either way, you're watching real astrology happen in real time — which is one of the most valuable parts of this apprenticeship.
How selective is the application?
Very. With only 2 seats available, I read every application personally and choose apprentices I know I can genuinely help. If you're not accepted this round, you'll be offered a place on the waitlist for the next intake.
What time zone are sessions held in?
I'm based in Australia (AEST/AEDT). Sessions are primarily offered during Australian business hours. Some flexibility is available for international students — please mention your location in your application and we can discuss.
When do applications open?
Applications open 25 May 2026. With only 2 seats, spots are expected to move quickly. I'd encourage you to apply as soon as applications open.
What it costs
The Astrologer's Table is priced to reflect the depth, exclusivity, and hands-on nature of this apprenticeship — and to be genuinely accessible to the committed student.
